The LALIZAS SOLAS OCEANO 8-person liferaft (SOLAS Pack A) is a certified throw-overboard liferaft designed for commercial vessels operating on international routes. This configuration is supplied in a GRP canister and is intended for worldwide use, meeting all applicable SOLAS, MED and MER requirements.

Engineered for dependable performance in offshore emergency situations, this liferaft offers safe evacuation capacity for medium-sized crews while maintaining compact deck stowage and straightforward deployment.

Certified SOLAS Liferaft for Worldwide Commercial Operations

The SOLAS OCEANO liferaft is manufactured from high-durability rubber fabric and incorporates double buoyancy chambers, ensuring flotation redundancy and increased safety in the event of partial damage. The robust GRP canister protects the liferaft against UV exposure, corrosion and mechanical stress, making it suitable for permanent deck installation.

This throw-overboard liferaft can be deployed from stowage heights of up to 36 metres, with an extended painter line allowing activation on vessels with high freeboard. An insulated floor enhances thermal protection in cold water, while the high-visibility canopy fitted with SOLAS reflective tapes improves detectability during search and rescue operations.

Supplied with SOLAS Pack A, this liferaft includes food rations, fresh water, distress signals, thermal protective aids and all mandatory survival equipment required for ocean-going commercial vessels.
