Explanation of Model Codes (TOB / OR Series)
TOB – refers to the LALIZAS SOLAS OCEANO Liferaft series, designed and certified in accordance with SOLAS requirements for commercial and professional vessels.
The letters and numbers following the TOB code indicate the container type and the liferaft capacity:

(A) = Rigid container version

(B) = Valise (soft) container version

The numbers (e.g. 6–12, 15–20, 25–35) refer to the number of persons the liferaft can accommodate.
Examples:

TOB 6–12 (A) → SOLAS OCEANO Liferaft in a rigid container, capacity 6–12 persons

TOB 6–15 (B) → SOLAS OCEANO Liferaft in a soft container, capacity 6–15 persons
OR – stands for Offshore / Ocean Rescue Liferafts, which are ISO 9650-1 certified and suitable for professional, offshore, and leisure marine applications.
The number (e.g. OR 6–25, OR 50–65) refers to the total number of persons on board the liferaft.
