LALIZAS SOLAS OCEANO Throw-Overboard Liferafts for International Voyages
The LALIZAS SOLAS OCEANO Throw-Overboard Liferaft is a fully certified SOLAS evacuation solution developed for commercial vessels operating on international routes. Designed to meet the strict requirements of SOLAS Chapter III and MED regulations, this liferaft provides dependable performance, rapid deployment and long-term durability in real emergency conditions at sea.
Certified for International Commercial Use
SOLAS OCEANO liferafts are intended for vessels engaged in international voyages and are supplied with either SOLAS Pack A or SOLAS Pack B, depending on operational area and regulatory requirements. Capacities range from 6 up to 35 persons, allowing shipowners and operators to select the correct configuration for crew size and vessel type.
Robust Construction & Offshore Reliability
Each liferaft is manufactured using durable rubber fabric with double-chambered buoyancy tubes, providing redundancy and increased safety in case of damage. The liferaft is housed in a GRP canister, offering excellent resistance to corrosion, UV exposure and mechanical impact. Selected models are also available in a flat pack canister configuration (capacities from 8 to 12 persons), allowing easier storage in confined deck spaces.
The liferaft is designed for stowage heights up to 36 metres, with painter line length available up to 46 metres, ensuring reliable deployment even on high freeboard vessels.
Designed for Extreme Conditions
SOLAS OCEANO liferafts are fully operational in temperatures ranging from –30°C to +65°C, making them suitable for both cold and tropical operating areas. An insulated floor minimizes heat loss in low-temperature environments, while the high-visibility canopy with SOLAS-approved reflective tapes ensures maximum detection during rescue operations.
Standard SOLAS Safety Equipment
Each liferaft is supplied with a comprehensive SOLAS-approved equipment pack, including buoyant paddles, bailers, flares, first-aid kit, repair kit, radar reflector, thermal protective aids, food rations and fresh water (Pack A), along with survival manuals and signalling equipment. The exact contents depend on whether SOLAS Pack A or Pack B is selected.
Global Support & Service Network
All LALIZAS SOLAS OCEANO liferafts are supported by a global network of authorized service stations, ensuring inspection, maintenance and re-certification anywhere in the world. Liferafts are supplied in a wooden transport box, with deck cradle included where applicable.
