Description
The following equation will help you to calculate the maximum Fmax (maximum load in Newtons) required from the hatch lifter to open your hatch, knowing the dimensions and weight of the hatch and the position of the mounting brackets.
Fmax=P/2 x L/b x X/a x K*
P = weight of the hatch in Newton
L = Hatchlift at closed position
C, A, D, X and B: see drawing
K = result of blue table below
Values of K if the ratio c/a is included between 0 and 0.5 ( if c/a > 0.5 use K=1)
